Mark 15 100823

Tomorrow morning we will be heading into the 15th Chapter in the Gospel of Mark. Our text tomorrow is some painful text to unpack as we see the crowds cry out for Jesus to be crucified. It is strange that it was the Jewish people that wanted Jesus to be crucified, and Pilate, a Gentile, that wanted Jesus freed. We will also read Pilate order Jesus to be scourged; and we will unpack exactly what that looked like.

I know that this is tough text to read, but I feel we need to make sure that we truly appreciate the cost of our salvation. Salvation may be free, but it was extremely costly.
