2 Timothy 4:6-8

This morning we will be heading back into the Book of 2nd Timothy. We will be looking at the last and final chapter of The Book and of Paul's life.

Our text this morning will demonstrate that Paul knew that his life, in this world, was coming to an end. Paul will be looking back at his life and also looking forward to his eternity in heaven.

Paul's words should give us pause to ask the question: What kind of sacrifice has my life been to the Lord? Have we given Him all that we have, have we given him a small sacrifice, an unholy sacrifice, a sacrifice of convenience?

Paul will also remind us that the Lord will reward us for our sacrifices. He will reward those that have remained faithful and long for the Lord's appearing.
