Matthew 9:10-26
This morning we are heading back into the 9th Chapter in the Gospel of Matthew.
We are going to be continuing our study on the call of Matthew, and it will be action packed. We will start with a party. Matthew called all his tax collector friends and had a going away party to celebrate his new life in Christ.
How do you think the religious leaders would react to a party full of what they considered deplorable, wicked sinners where the guest of honor was none other than Jesus?
Next we will see John the Baptist's disciples seeking out Jesus to ask why His disciples didn't fast. It is biblical, so why did Jesus' disciples get a pass?
Then we will move to a ruler whose daughter is dying so he seeks Jesus to heal her. However, his request will be delayed when a woman who struggled with a blood disorder touched the fringe of Jesus' garment. Would Jesus make it in time to heal the girl?
Lots of great Scripture to unpack.
