2 Peter 1:1-11

I don't know about yall, but I am ready for some warmer temperatures and no snow.

This morning we will be having church. If anything changes I will send another email letting folks know of any changes.

This morning we are starting a new Book of the Bible. We will be starting the Book of 2 Peter. It is a shorter Book but has some great insight and wisdom for us today.

Peter is going to be writing about our call and election. How we have many great promises of God that are accessed through our faith, our obedience, and our knowledge of Him and His Word for us today. 

Peter will also be sharing seven virtues that should be practiced in our Christian walk so that we don't become ineffective and unfruitful Christians.These virtues are part of an intentional Christian walk that seeks to know our Lord more and more everyday. These virtues should not be stagnant in the life of a fruitful Christian, but should increase and be evident so that we mature and don't stumble.
