1 Timothy 1:18-20

This morning we are going to be finishing off the 1st Chapter of the Book of 1 Timothy.

Last week, we talked about the Amazing Grace of God. How no one is beyond the redemptive, grace and forgiveness of our Lord through the blood of Jesus Christ. No matter how much, how bad, or how often a sinner a person is, there can always be redemption for any and all that call upon the name of the Lord.

This week, we are going to see Paul writing about how there were a couple of folks in Ephesus that were causing such division with their false teachings and blaspheme that Paul had to turn them over to Satan. So, what gives? How do we go from no one is so far gone that they cannot be redeemed, to turning someone over to Satan? You will have to come and hear to find out.

Paul is also going to be reminding Timothy that the Christian walk is not a playground, but a battleground as the enemy is prowling around like a lion looking for someone to devour. Timothy needed to hold on to the faith and maintain a good conscience to wage good warfare against the enemy's snares.
