1 Peter 3 13-17 11/10/24

Tomorrow morning, we are heading back into the Book of 1 Peter. We will be looking at the 3rd Chapter. We will also get a chance to watch a video and hear from members of the Mexico missions' team that went to San Felipe a few weeks ago. Who knows, maybe we will even try to sing a song in Spanish.

In our text tomorrow morning Peter will continue to write about, yet another subject that most folks don't really feel too comfortable speaking about. This time it is not "submission" that Peter is writing about but suffering. 

No one likes suffering but the bible is very clear that as Christians, we will suffer in this life. It is not an "if" we suffer, but "when" we suffer kind of thing. A more important distinction is "why" we suffer. If we suffer for doing evil, there is no benefit to the suffering. However, if we suffer for righteousness's sake, then there is a blessing in that suffering.
