1 Peter 4:1-6

This morning, we are going to be starting the 4th chapter in the Book of 1st Peter.

Peter is going to be reminding us that our time in this word is short. So the big question is:

"What are we doing with our time"?

 There are a lot of things in this world that require our time, in which we have no, or limited, control over. Things like: eating, sleeping, waiting in line, showering, driving behind slow drivers. However, we do have control of a lot of the time that we have been given; and Peter is going to be reminding us that we need to use that time wisely. 

Unfortunately, there are Christians that still go back to their old sinful ways and waste their time doing things that are incongruent with the witness and testimony that we should have as Christians.Peter is going to tell us that, as Christians, we need to make sure that our time is not spent on frivolous things that are not consistent with our Christian walk.
