This morning, we are heading back into the 2nd Chapter in the Book of 1 Peter. We will also be partaking of Communion together as a family.

Peter is going to start out talking about maintaining our witness. Having good witness and testimony is vital to our being able to spread the Good News Gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. The whole "Do as I say and not as I do" thing only leads to calls of hypocrisy by the world in which we are called to share Truth.

Peter will then get into one of the hardest aspects of Christianity for some-the concept of submission. Over the next couple of weeks Peter will get into submission to authority, to employers, and spouses. Tomorrow, we will also talk about how there is a time in which we are not required to submit to human authority.
