Matthew 8:1-17

Last week we finished off the Sermon on the Mount. This week we will be beginning the 8th chapter in the Gospel of Matthew.

This morning we will be looking at several healings. Jesus will heal a leper, a centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law, and finally the multitudes that are brought to Him. Jesus will provide this healing through several different means: by a touch, by a word, in close proximity, and from a distance.

The physical healings, in and of themselves, are miraculous but to me the greater miracle is that He can also heal us spiritually and remove the sins of those who call upon the name of the Lord.
