Philippians 3:17-21

Feb 25, 2024    David Clark

Tomorrow morning, we are going to be finishing off the 3rd Chapter of the Book of Philippians. After the service we will then be enjoying a fellowship meal together with lots of good vittles, and plenty of fried chicken.

Tomorrow Paul will be encouraging the Philippians to follow his example, and the example of other Godly witnesses. Paul knew that there were many folks in Philippi that were tarnishing their walk, that were enemies of the cross, that would be trying to get them to follow their wicked examples, So, Paul encouraged them to choose wisely who they would follow, because the enemies of the cross had a final destination that led to destruction.

Paul then contrasted those whose end is destruction, with those who had Godly walks and would inherit Heaven, in which their citizenship has already been sealed. Paul reminds us as Christians, that we are waiting for the return of our Savior, and when He returns these lowly bodies of ours will be transformed to be like His glorious body. What a day that will be, when He returns.
