Mark 13 080523

Today we are continuing in our study of the Gospel of Mark. We are in the 13th Chapter and we will stop just a skosh early to partake of communion together as a family.

Today we will be studying the Olivet Discourse. We will see lots of end times prophecy in this Chapter. In our study tomorrow we will see events that have, are and will occur. How can that be? You will have to come tomorrow and see.

Last week we looked at Jesus telling the disciples that the Temple was going to be destroyed and not one stone would be left on top of another. Tomorrow, we will read how some of the disciples come to ask Jesus when the events of the destruction of the temple would occur, and Jesus will give them a mind-blowing answer.

We will be looking at the early portion of the Tribulation tomorrow. It is going to be a nasty time for those left behind. Full Disclosure--I am a Pre-Trib guy, so I believe Christians will not have to go through the Tribulation period, and ohhh boy am I thankful for that.
